Nearby are cities such as Cádiz known as the most ancient city in Europe, and Jerez de la Frontera with its airport, famous for its Horse Fair in May and the Royal School of Equestrian Art.

The monumental and historic city of Seville, capital of Andalusia and famous for its Semana Santa and Feria de Abril is together with Malaga the main arrival route to Andalusia thanks to its airport and rail connections.

Gibraltar, one of the last British colonies where you can appreciate an interesting mix of Mediterranean cultures combined with the British way of life, also has an airport.

In the area around Urbanización Atlanterra, in the direction of Gibraltar, in the middle of the Natural Park is the beach of Bolonia, where the remains of the Roman city of Baelo Claudia can be found.

Passing Gibraltar and halfway to Malaga are the well-known towns of the Costa del Sol, such as Sotogrande and Marbella.

Crossing the strait by ferry, it is easy to reach Tangier and from there to the exotic towns of Assilah and Chauen in the north of Morocco.
